Dr. Oliver H. Haag is a pediatric otolaryngologist who serves as the Head of Department at the Otolaryngology service of the Sant Joan de Deu Children’s Hospital in Barcelona, Spain. Born in Germany, he received his medical education in Berlin and a PhD in Vienna before moving to Barcelona to complete his ENT residency.
Dr. Haag has extensive international experience, including hospital stays at leading pediatric ENT centers in Switzerland, Germany, Canada, and USA. His scientific activities include research on auditory development in implanted infants, gene therapy for hearing loss, and online courses on childhood hearing issues and ENT pathology. He regularly lectures at national and international courses and conferences. He is dedicated to advancing the field through his clinical expertise, research, and teaching.
Dr.Haag is a member of SEORL Spanish Society of ENT (currently member of the pediatric ENT committee), SCORL Catalan Society of ENT, Deutsche Gesellschaft für HNO Heilkunde – German ENT Society and ESPO European Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology.
