Ruben Polo is an accomplished otorhinolaryngologist with an extensive medical background.  

He graduated from the University of Salamanca with a degree in Medicine in 2003 and later specialized in otorhinolaryngology at the Hospital Universitario Ramón y Cajal from 2004 to 2008.  

He served as an otorhinolaryngologist at the same hospital from 2008 to 2020 before becoming the Head of the otology and lateral skull base division in 2020.  

Dr. Polo also holds a PhD in Medicine from the University of Alcalá, which he obtained in 2019, and has been an Associate Professor of otorhinolaryngology at the University of Alcalá since 2022.
