Professor Yann Nguyen is an ENT surgeon specializing in otology and lateral skull base surgery, and a Professor of Universities–Hospital Practitioner at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital (AP-HP, Sorbonne University) in Paris. He is recognized for his expertise in middle ear surgery, cochlear implantation, and innovative robot-assisted approaches.

He is deeply involved in translational research and collaborates closely with the Institut de l’Audition (Institut Pasteur) on the development of new therapeutic strategies for hearing loss, particularly integrating advanced imaging and gene therapy. He is actively engaged in national and international initiatives, including the IHU reConnect program, aimed at accelerating innovation in hearing health.

He is also committed to training the next generation of surgeons and to disseminating technological advances in otology.
