BIOGRAPHY

Prof. Amal Hajjij, MD, is Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Mohammed VI University of Health Sciences in Casablanca, Morocco. She is Director of the Mohammed VI Hearing Center, a dedicated platform for hearing care, audiology, and otologic expertise, and Director of the ENT Specialty Program at the Mohammed VI Foundation of Sciences & Health.

Prof. Hajjij completed her medical training and residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Hassan II University Hospital in Fez, Morocco, where she developed strong clinical and surgical expertise in ear, nose, and throat disorders. She further enhanced her international experience as a Research Fellow at the Stanford Sinus Center, Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, Stanford University, California, USA, contributing to translational research in rhinology and endoscopic sinus surgery.

Her clinical and academic activities focus on advancing patient care, surgical innovation, and education in the fields of otology, hearing rehabilitation with a special interest in cochlear implantation and other implantable solutions, the management of vestibular disorders, and minimally invasive endoscopic ear surgery. Her areas of expertise and research interest include otology, pediatric otolaryngology, cochlear implant surgery, advanced otoendoscopic ear surgery, otoneurophysiology, advanced hearing assessment, vestibular function testing, vertigo evaluation, rhinology, sinonasal disorders, and endoscopic endonasal sinus surgery.
