Doctor Denis Ayache is a physician specializing in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. Head of the ENT and head and neck surgery department at the Adolphe de Rothschild Foundation Hospital – Associate Professor at the College of Medicine of the Paris Hospitals.
He is a former intern at the Paris Hospitals, former head of clinic at the university – Assistant at the Paris Hospitals and Associate Professor at the College of Medicine of the Paris Hospitals.
Dr. Ayache’s main areas of interest are otology and lateral skull base surgery. He is an innovator in ear imaging techniques by being the first to describe, with Dr. Williams – a radiologist at the Rothschild Foundation Hospital, a special MRI protocol for the detection and management of cholesteatoma in the postoperative period.
Dr. Ayache also devotes part of his professional activity to teaching (deputy general secretary of the Collège Français des Enseignants en ORL, vice-president of ORL-DPC responsible for the continuing professional development of ENT physicians), clinical research and scientific publications. He is the signatory of more than 80 scientific articles, author of books or book chapters, and is involved in ENT association activities (member of several French or foreign associations or learned societies, representative of the ENT specialty with the Fédération des Spécialités Médicales, member of the executive board of the CNP d’ORL).
