Prof. Jean-Yves Sichel is a distinguished otolaryngologist who has made significant contributions to the field of Head and Neck surgery. After completing his medical training in Paris, he moved to Israel in 1989, where he quickly established himself as a leading expert.
Currently serving as Chairman of the Otolaryngology Head & Neck Department at Shaare Zedek Medical Center in Jerusalem, Prof. Sichel is also a Professor at the Hebrew University. His leadership extends beyond the clinic, having served as President of the Israeli Association of Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery from 2009 to 2013.
Prof. Sichel’s passion for international collaboration led him to co-found AFIDOC, fostering French-Israeli medical exchanges. With over 100 peer-reviewed publications, his research focuses on inner ear electrophysiology, congenital neck masses, and thyroid and parotid surgery.
