BIOGRAPHY

Patrizia Mancini MD, PhD, is an associate Professor at Department of Sense Organs University Sapienza of Rome. She received both ENT residency and Clinical Audiology residency Degrees. She has a PhD in Hearing Sciences, and is a lecturer in audiology and otology in many University courses.
She is the Director of a Master Program on Cochlear Implant Fitting, Member of the Academic Board of the PhD Program in “Clinical-Experimental Neuroscience and Psychiatry” at Sapienza University, and a Member of the European Commission Expert panels on implantable devices class III for Sense Organs for the European Medicines Agency (EMA). She is the clinical coordinator of the “clinical technologies for hearing loss” unit and runs the Cochlear implant outpatient’s program.  She is author of 135 peer-reviewed publications and her main fields of interest and research are otology, auditory implants.
