Professor Ronen Perez MD
Professor Ronen Perez, Director of the Otology Devision and Director of the Cochlear Implant Center, Shaare-Zedek Medical Center afiiliated with the Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew-University of Jerusalem.
Serves as President of the Mediteranean Society of Otology and Audiology (MSOA) (2026-2030). Served as the President of the Israeli Society of Otoneurology (2019-2026).
Received his MD degree from the Hebrew-University Medical School in Jerusalem (1995). Completed his Otolaryngology residency at Shaare-Zedek Medical Center (2001) and a fellowship in Neurotology-Skull Base Surgery at the University of Toronto (2004).
In addition to his clinical and surgical work in Otology and Neurotology he conducts basic and clinical research relating to cochlear implantation, inner-ear physiology, ototoxicity, and tinnitus. He is a member of international professional societies including the Collegium Oto-Rhino-Laryngologicu Amicitiae Sacrum (CORLAS), ARO and fellow – American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
